Hi, Emily Angwin! I’m an international news anchor, journalist, and event moderator. I’m currently completing a Masters of International Relations at Queen Mary University of London.
I’ve worked in the Middle East, Asia and Australia, as well as been deployed to South Africa and Brazil.
I regularly work as a Senior Anchor for Al Jazeera English in Doha, Qatar where I host the News Hour, Inside Story and daily bulletins. I’m also a freelance reporter in the Philippines, as I’m currently based in Manila.
I’m a passionate storyteller and communicator and have also worked as an anchor in Beijing, China after being head hunted by an international recruiter.
I began my media career in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia and now have 15+ years of broadcast experience spanning three continents.
